I used these cups to make key lime and bitter orange tarts ... they are the perfect size. One key lime recipe basically fills 12 tart cups. I make the "baked" kind of key lime or orange tarts, and since I'm gluten sensitive, I use either gluten free graham cracker crumbs or unsweetened shredded coconut for the "crust". These make perfect "hostess gifts", or are great to take to potluck affairs where you don't want to worry about getting your dishes/pans back at the end of the event. But if you DO get them back, they are washable/reusable. Great for putting the tarts in the freezer, too ... they are stackable (with the lids on) and take up a minimum amount of space.I love these containers!I used them for out Thanksgiving gathering this year. I wanted to make individual servings so that there weren’t multiple people cutting and serving pie.. lol.. with all of the health concerns this year I found this to be a good idea. You can also bake your pies in them! I made pumpkin pie and they’re safe to use in the oven. The kids fit nicely too. These were a huge hit at our gathering and I’ll definitely use them again!!These were the hit of the Thank giving day feast. Made many individual pies instead of a couple big ones. They turned out great and were easier to store and send some home with guests after. These were great. mad eof lightweight aluminum and the plastic tops helped for storage and keeping them fresh. My wife is going to use these again for next Thanksgiving.Great size for my pies,safe single servings!I am using these for mini pies and tarts. I make and sell individual desserts and these are great for all my various items. Pictured are little apple pies with heart crust cutouts for a 50th anniversary celebration.These are just ok. They would be fine for bringing stuff to parties or whatever but the aluminum is literally almost like foil. They have little structural integrity. Sometimes, when simply putting the lid on, they collapse. Not good if you’re looking to use them for items that you plan on selling.Perfect size and good quality baking cups.
