I needed an espresso cup that could handle a longo pull for my iperespresso machine but had a thin enough shape to fit in the little square space (my other coffee cups don't fit). These are perfect. I had already owned the single espresso cups and I really love this brand. They come white, the little saucers are wonderful, they clean easy... nothing to complain about.12/14/15 review update - reduced by a starI've now owned these cups for nearly a year and just had to purchase another set. One of the cups had an unfortunate fall off a coffee table and shattered into a few pieces (which I suppose a few pieces is better than shards of glass everywhere). None the less, I'm buying a second set because three of them just won't be enough for how often I use them. It appears that they become more fragile with age so just be wary of that.Just the right size to handle a doppio or a single with a splash of milk and foam. Fits well under our Citi Nespresso machine. It's made of Porcelain, which apparently is non-reactive with coffee and non-staining. However, this also makes the cup and saucer very slick. It's almost impossible to walk with the cup and saucer together without holding onto both. So, we end up not using the saucer, which cuts into the charm of these. I agree with other posters that the base is too small. Lastly, there's a quirky bump/nipple on the bottom inside of the cup. Supposedly makes a better crema. Can't say I could tell the difference, but it makes for conversation.This espresso cups/saucers set is higher quality than I anticipated and they're made with thick porcelain body.Each cup is exactly 3 ozs filled to the very top, so these are perfect for double espresso shots. The cup handle has more than enough opening for my finger for a comfortable hold as you can see in my photo.I love the elegant cup shape, but the base is a bit narrow for the elongated cups so these are probably best to pour at the serving table unless you could carefully balance them to transfer on a tray. They're microwave and dishwasher safe and I'm perfectly satisfied with my purchase.I am incredibly happy with these little cups! I recently bought this to go along with a moka pot I had purchased and they are the absolute perfect size for my morning espresso. The cups and saucers have a very classic, chic design to them. They feel sturdy and retain the heat from the coffee well. I was also extremely happy with the price for these. I have only recently gotten into making espresso in the morning and wanted to look for a good starter set of cups that wouldn't break my budget. These are absolutely perfect and I anticipate using them for a long time.These are the perfect cups for a double-shot of espresso. I have a european-style espresso machine, and when I set it for a double, it fills the cup perfectly to just below the top edge. The quality of the cups is very solid and they should last a very long time, the handle is just the right size, and the saucers look great when you put the whole package together. Every time I use it, I feel like I am in a cafe in Italy! Highly recommend, especially if you ever decide that a single shot isn't going to be enough to get you started in the morning!Good cups, meets my needs perfectly. Just note that they are exactly 3 oz, so if you do a 3oz shot it will fill to the very top and you'll have to be careful not to spill. For me I usually make 1.5-2 oz per shot of espresso, so these cups are a perfect "wake me up" size. Good quality and looks as well.About 3 oz each. Attractive cups. One issue is that due to the tall nature of the cups, they can tend to fall over is the saucer is suddenly moved.These are very nice, thick, porcelain double espresso cups. They have a very nice feel in the hand.At 3 ounces they are a little large. Typical high intensity doubles are usually made with about 1.5 ounces of espresso.At first look I thought they were too large. Then I compared them with the traditionally shaped espresso cups that I have been using and discovered that they were exactly the same volume.They work well. It would be nice for storage if they stacked a little better. But that is a minor issue.
