I've consistently had a bag of these in my kitchen for the past 6 months. They are quite delicious!! When summer skies turn dark and gloomy I turn to these sweet candies like the captain of a schooner seeks out refuge in a harbor. I often times think back to my childhood in the war-torn city of Kosovo, those damned nights filled with the ambient sputtering of machine gun fire and salvos of rockets that thrashed the city blocks and sent dust falling from the cellar ceiling like a late January snow. My father would stay awake through the nights keeping watch, his eyes never left the bulkhead door and at times it had seemed that he had become a statue, just another piece of furniture stored away in our cellar.It was a Monday morning the day when the rebel soldiers made their way into our home. A rocket had come slamming into the wall of our kitchen; Brick and mortar consumed our home and covered our bodies. I laid there paralyzed staring into the gaping hole that once held our family china set, and the countertop that my mother would spend her days chopping vegetables for stews and sipping coffee next to the window where she'd observe the happenings of the neighborhood. A silhouette began to appear at the bottom of the hole, his feet slid on the loose bricks as he pulled himself up and onto the floor. His eyes scanned the room before he spotted me and then they continued their path across the kitchen; It was as if I was just another piece of rubble on the ground. Anyways the chocolate is super good I recommend it highly.I’ve always hated Reese’s and I wasn’t expecting to like these. Turns out if they are made with quality ingredients (as these are), but butter cups actually taste great! The only reason that I deducted a star is that the last batch I got was stale - not all that uncommon when order this type of product from AmazonLove love love these! This is such a great and healthier alternative to the mainstream chocolate peanut butter cup. My 4 year old son has a sensitivity to sugar and is usually not allowed to have candy because of all of the additives and sugar. I'm so glad I found these because we can now treat him to a little candy once in a while without worrying about how it will negatively effect him. I as well have to be careful of the kind of candy I eat occasionally and am not a fan of super sweet things anyway. This is the perfect balance of not too sweet and I don't have to feel guilty afterwords! The only downside to these is that they are pretty expensive, so it's definitely not something we will be eating regularly. I wish they were a little more affordable so we could treat ourselves more often or could be bought in bulk to save money. It's great to have healthier options i just wish the price wasn't triple or more In comparison to the mainstream similar candyDelicious, and a healthier alternative to Reese’s. I don't suggest ordering in the warm months of the year. I received an order this week and all the cups were melted. They are still edible after placing in the refrigerator, they are just now square and flat.These guys are spendy and small, but the FLAVOR! If it has been years since you had a peanut butter cup (like me) you will be so happy to have these treats.This is my second time purchasing these tasty treats. They are a little expensive for they sure do taste good. I usually have one per day for a mid-morning snack.
