No instructions and the writing on the box is all in chinese. It's supposed to help people who have issues swallowing by allowing them to drink only so much with each sip... it doesn't do that lol it works just like any other cup. It was also supposed to be stainless steel... it isn't. It's just a hard plastic cup. I guess it works fine as a regular cup, but it isn't what is advertised in the description.
